Hitachi HILF65101 65″ FHD Interactive Touch Screen
From experience, B2B education and corporate markets are about brand name and price. When doing a roll out, every dollar counts and that is why AVA Distribution has been looking for the best bang for buck brand name interactive touch screen to service these markets. We found one in Hitachi with the HILF65101.
The reality is schools and boardrooms need a presentation system that is robust, easy to use and well priced. Look no further than the Hitachi HILF65101. AVA Distribution has tried many a touch screen manufacturer and has found a lot are packed full of features and marketing lingo no-one really cares about or utilises. Germ resistance, low blue light technology & a plethora of useless software you will never use, and subsequently this all leads to extra cost. Can you justify spending a whole lot more on something you will probably never use?
Let’s focus on another real world issue: Resolution
Commonly most touch screens coming to market today push a 4K resolution. This is great when the content suits. Do you have a 4K laptop, BlueRay or tablet? Most schools and teachers I’ve encountered or heard feedback from are still working with 1366×768 resolutions or less; 1080p if you’re lucky. Unless you have a 4K laptop you will NOT be getting what you paid for when purchasing that 4K touch screen monitor. Currently, 4K market share within Australian laptops and computers is so minuscule you’d be lucky to encounter one in your classroom & boardroom. So until the majority has upgraded, you’re effectively paying for a resolution you are not using. Nor do any touch panels on the market upscale to 4K. So all those extra pixels you forked the extra $$ out for are useless.
Say you do have a 4K laptop plugging into a 4K 65” Display? Wonderful! BUT… what about poor little Johnny at the back of the classroom. He can’t read the 14pt text on your word document. The 4K resolution is so detailed that you now have the issues of fitting 8 million pixels within 65 diagonal inches of image real estate, which in fact requires your students to sit closer to be able to read the content. Isn’t this the opposite on what we are going for? Don’t we require a large image so everyone in the room can see? This is the crux of 4K. When you have a 75” and above 4K really works. But the price point is too much. 65” is the sweet spot for expediency and overall price and FHD 1080p works best on 65” as an all round middle of the road resolution for that panel size and the Australian market.
Bundle with a Motorized Mobile Trolley
Add a TD MFP500 mobile motorized lift trolley for more possibilities and mobility. PSU & laptop tray come standard. When dropping the panel down for kindergarten applications the solution really works for that huddle space style delivery, adding yet another content delivery option for the education market.
