Yamaha Provisionaire Touch brings video and audio switching conveniently into an iPad for control over a multi-zone AV system. PV Touch is custom designable and can integrate HDMI video switching, microphone switching and mixing as well as bring in streaming sources such as Spotify and internet radio.
Recently Fun Fit Play in Wynnum Queensland launched their debut play centre which incorporated a full Yamaha ProVisionaire touch control system. Through one of our valued re-sellers AVAD assisted in the design, supply and programming to help match the client’s needs of 21st century control within a tight budget.
The Venue
The Hardware
System comprised of an MTX3 8×8 Yamaha audio matrix with XMV4140 & PA2120 amplifiers. Yamaha 8” VXS8 surface mount and VXC8 in-ceiling speakers as well as two 12” DXS12 sub woofers made up the speaker components. Video was switched with an RX-V685B and controlled via an iPad running Provisionaire Touch. TCL TVs supplied by AVA Distribution were also incorporated.
The Control Surface
The venue was split into 3x zones of audio control and video distributed throughout as a single zone. The AV Receiver grabs the streaming services and handles all the video input switching with the MTX doing zone volume control and signal processing on the speakers. Provisionaire Touch links all this together quickly and easily with custom faders, source select buttons on an iPad.
ProVisionaire Touch creates a professional look and feel AV control system at a fraction of the cost of the competition. The app is a free download and has freely designable interfaces to allow the aesthetic of the venue to translate through to control. This simple audio video system works a treat for basic audio and video control throughout a retail precinct or shop front to multi-zone function rooms and corporate meetings spaces.
